 Burke High School was selected to receive a $2,000 grant from the GRAMMY Foundation in conjunction with Best Buy Mobile. This award was presented at the marching band’s October 25 th end of the season concert by Ms. Kari Samuelson, manager of the Best Buy Mobile store which opened on November 16 th in the Oak View Mall. As part of this award, Ms. Samuelson announced that all Burke students and staff who show their school ID will receive a 25% lifetime discount on all accessories at the Oak View Best Buy Mobile store. The Burke High School Band would like to express our appreciation to the GRAMMY Foundation for honoring us with this award and to Ms. Kari Samuelson for her generous offer for all Burke staff and students. |
